Overview
HDLink Pro connects SDI video direct to your display using DVI-D or HDMI, so you get a fully digital connection to the screen. This totally eliminates noise and other analogue limitations to your monitoring. HDLink Pro is the world's first full resolution HDTV and 2K monitoring solution for DVI and HDMI displays. Combining the quality of 4:4:4 SDI video, with new 3Gb/s SDI for 2K, HD and SD compatibility, built in 3D lookup table colour management and 6 channel analogue audio outputs, HDLink Pro is easily the most advanced monitoring solution available.
3D Lookup Table Colour Management
With built in 3D lookup tables, you can accurately any film stock or calibrate for the colourimetry of you connected display. The included HDLink Utility software for Windows and Mac OS X allows real time colour adjustments, software updates, audio channel selections and downloading custom lookup tables.
High Resolution 3 Gb/s SDI Film Monitoring
HDLink Pro features the new 3 Gb/s SDI video connection for 4:2:2 and 2K video monitoring using a single BNC connection. Only HDlink Pro supports real time 2K playback via SDI at a massive 2048 x 1556 resolution when used with a 30 inch LCD display.
Works with DVI and HDMI Monitors
Connect to a 24 inch LCD computer display for tru 1920 x 1080 HDTV monitoring, or 30 inch displays for full 2048 x 1556 2k feature film monitoring. Configure and Update via USB
Included free, HDLink Utility lets you configure advanced features such as lookup tables, color settings and blue only mode. Control software is available for both Mac OS X™ and Windows™ with USB 2.0 connectivity allowing firmware upgrades via internet downloadable updates.

The HDMI input of a display must accept either:
• 1920 x 1080 for HD1080 video SDI formats or
• 1280 x 720 for HD720 video SDI formats
Please note, that the native resolution of an HDMI display will often be less than full resolution HDTV, even if the display is rated to accept HDTV signals. This is a physical limitation of the display itself and full-resolution HDMI displays, or DVI-D displays, should be considered if pixel for pixel video is required.
Please also note that only a small percentage of HDMI displays support 720p50. |
