Directions to Our Premises
BY CAR
From the Motorway Network (Click here for a map):
From M60 (formerly M62) Junction 17, follow the signs for Bury (A56), at the second set of traffic lights (by McDonalds) bear left onto Higher Lane, follow this road through two more sets of traffic lights, it ends at a mini roundabout. We are in the row of shops opposite, next to the Kwong Hing chinese takeaway. There is parking space directly in front of our premises.
From Manchester City Centre:
Follow signs for Bury (A56), continue along A56 for 5.2 miles. After passing a large Tesco store on the left you will cross the M60 at Junction 17, from here follow the directions above.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
By Rail:
If you are travelling from outside Manchester you will usually
arrive at Piccadilly station in Manchester City centre. Follow the signs inside
the station for Metrolink (see below) to Bury, the Metrolink platforms are directly
below the station concourse.
Manchester Victoria station is also served by the Bury line of the Metrolink system (see below).
Metrolink:
The best way to get from Manchester City centre to Whitefield is by Metrolink, the light rail/tram system which runs through the heart of the city centre. Get on any tram bound for Bury. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes (from Piccadilly).
Whitefield station is 2 stops before Bury. The station before Whitefield is called Besses o' th' Barn.
On Foot from Whitefield Metrolink Station (Click here for a map):
On leaving Whitefield Metrolink station by the main entrance, you will be faced by a crossroads with a set of traffic lights. Diagonally opposite you will see a branch of Barclay's Bank. Cross the roads, heading towards Barclay's. When you are on the same side as the bank, follow the road that the bank is on (Bury New Road) along to the next set of traffic lights, here you will see a large Indian restaurant on the left, follow the road around to the left, past the front of the restaurant. Continue along this road (Radcliffe New Road) for approx 1/8th of a mile, you will come to a mini roundabout, on the left is a pub called The Goats Gate, opposite the pub is a row of shops. We are in the shop next to the Kwong Hing chinese takeaway.
