Overview

The JVC KA-790G Studio Adaptor rig is a modular adapter that converts a GY-HM790 ENG camcorder into a studio camera providing a sturdy support mechanism for accessories. It mounts to the bottom of the camera and supports the VF-HP790 LCD studio viewfinder on top, it also provides a stable base for the complete system including a teleprompter and pedestal - without external cabling. The sled has a hinged side panel allowing the camera to be easily removed for the resumption of ENG shooting. The KA-790 is suitable when the GY-HM790 is used with either the KA-M790G multicore or fibre studio configurations.
