This item is the LiteRing only, it does not include the mounting adapter, controller or power supply. If you require all of these items you can purchase them together in the Medium LED LiteRing kit (see below).

Details

Reflecmedia's Chromatte fabric is designed to work in conjunction with a LiteRing. The LiteRing features Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) that are arranged in a circular casing that is positioned around the front of the camera lens. This provides all the light required to illuminate the Chromatte background for chroma key production.

A series of specially designed adapter rings are available seperately (see below), these screw into the filter thread on the front of the lens and then the LiteRing is placed on to the adapter and locked with a single screw, significantly reducing the set-up time associated with conventional chroma key. Simply choose the size of adapter ring suitable for the filter thread on your camera lens.

Because not all lenses are produced with the filter thread required to attach the LiteRing to the lens, Reflecmedia has added additional adapters to their range of products to enable the user to attach the LiteRing to lenses such as film primes and HD wide angles. An adapter is available to mount the medium light ring on 15mm or 19mm matte box rails (see below). For information on other mounting options please contact us.

The LiteRing brightness is regulated using the LiteRing Controller (not included - see below), this is powered by 12v DC from a universal power supply or camera battery – for flexibility in or out of the studio.
